I LOVE TO LEARN The Day of Personal Mission Statement

So, granted there are things in life I just can't control. As much as Id like too-- lol. I just can't. And that is going to have to be something I will fester with perhaps most of my life...But today is about taking the opportunities in front of us an nourishing them-- The question, as Steven Covey would ask, well, what can you control, and focus on that... so lets think.... who am I as defined by my inner circle and outer...

Subject: Health
Inner: I can count carbs, exercies, join fitness circles, be thoughtful about what I eat
Outer: Ill still feel the effects of food, but all planned out carefully

Subject: Finances
Inner: I can be frugal, work hard, save my resources and buy clothing that is classic in taste
Outer: It is still a world wide recession

Subject: Career
Inner: I can identify what field I want - and preserver building contacts and like attributes
Outer: I can not hirer myself - and open a field that is not hiring.

Subject: Personal Well Being
Inner: I can make goals and keep promises to myself, let go of regrets and live in hope
Outer: This is all inner! I can do this all on my own. Christ stood with dignity in every storm.

Subject: Relationships
Inner: I can do my best to let everyone in my life know they are cherished
Outer: I can set boundaries of respect-- with realistic and individualized expectations of others.

Subject: Spirituality
Inner: I can study the Atonement and the Holy Ghost: building understanding and ability
Outer: Sometimes I will let myself down on the path to perfection. Than I will see above....

Subject: Family
Inner: I will prioritize time to see my family and find ways to serve them.
Outer: I cannot control how much others are able to give, just what I can.

Subject: Education
Inner: I have varied wildly in my interests, with a surface knowledge of many areas. I know have 7 areas of education I want to pursue as a life long academic: 1) Gospel Studies 2) Personal Finance, Self Reliance and Welfare Programs(serve with gained knowledge) 3) World History, parallels and foreshadowing 4) Books of great writers and philosophers 5) Psychology, what motivates behavior, self and circumstance 6) Domestic qualities, baking, painting and cultural arts 7) Talent acquisition, specifically, arts, dance, language, playing hymns on numerous instruments

Subject: Disappointment
Inner: when i or others let me down I can not hold onto this forever
Outer: I will experience disappointment through out my life

Subject: Order
Inner: I can maintain quality of care for all items
Outer: Sometimes a house in order is a house with peace and maybe a little clutter...but only a very little temporary clutter... I can be patient in this.

Subject: Personal Branding
Inner: I can speak to myself and with others with the Respect God has for us, and pray for that ability.
Outer: On occasion I will still find opportunities to fall down the stairs in public settings.

What do these inner circle understandings allow me to do:

See what I can do to maximize my self worth and potential
Concentrate on how I can develop myself to of greater service to others.

To be continued...

A wonderful day

So- I close the end of a fun filled day-- full of LOTS and LOTS of adventure and have a few take home lessons for tomorrow.

1) Carpe Diem. Every day is special
2) Plan more carefully-- could have avoided a few mis communications
3) Let the past go and stop running from the present.

I am not the same girl I was when I brought myself here-- maybe its time to re-think what Im doing and just have a little fun...

And I dedicate this song to you LA:

Having just moved to Provo after living in MA for 5 years there is a lot of things to enjoy-- and I am loving it!

A Memo to this experience:

There’s this moment that keeps on going

Sometimes not sure what's better...To run or just keep strolling

Looking –Moving on - Yeah this just keeps on going on

Climbing always losing Who knew we'd cross again

Center battle field and rolling

There’s this moment that is precious

We're walking cross the entrance headlines

And were moving right ahead

Helping one another and cheering on... Life is wonderful today

Never knew it could get better...

Rolling through the meadows.. For a reason

Look on now And keep going

So long past mistakes...Goodbye wasted times

Hello little sunshine

Stay on for a while...

There’s a reason you are glowing

You’re not afraid to cross the other side.

There's a reason we are glowing--

Don't be afraid, just keep on going on.

Foot Prints

Trying to capture the footprints in the sand
is harder in life than we had planned.
Distantly you see the imprints
Where great men walked in sandy shoes
Somewhere between these impacts
My tiny steps have taken too.
Sometime in life the lessons real
Seeing God's footprints
Is the challenge of the Day
I believe he walks with us
In the Sandy Shores
Both Night and Day. Looking for that Silver dollar
or our "lobster" walk those coast line shores
Where our thoughts coast to bigger waves.
